Film of 1938 Norfolk floods inspires new book
A pioneering film following a postman who fought his way through the 1938 Norfolk floods to deliver the mail has inspired a new book.
The film unit from the General Post Office followed Claude the postman as he waded through the floodwater on his round.
Author Scott Anthony said the GPO films, made for its workers, were trying to give a voice to different parts of society.
