Mid-Norfolk Railway offers reward for lost train valve

The Mid-Norfolk Railway is offering a reward for the return of part of one of its restored locomotives.

The King Edward II steam engine was travelling to Dereham on Wednesday when the safety valve cover fell off.

It is thought the valve may have been knocked off by a low-hanging branch and somebody may have found it and taken it home.

The organisation is offering "a large cash reward" for the piece, which resembles a brass coal scuttle.
