Jonathan Meyrick was unveiled as the next Bishop of Lynn after his nomination was approved by the Queen.

Mr Meyrick, 58, who spent time as Dean of Exeter, succeeds the Rt Revd James Langstaff who is now Bishop of Rochester.

"The more I heard about the job the more I thought this is where I should be," said Mr Meyrick.

The new bishop was introduced at an assembly at Whitefriars Church of England Primary School in King's Lynn.
