Three held over father and son shootings in Liverpool

Three people have been arrested in Manchester over a shooting of a father and son in Liverpool on Wednesday.

A man, 36, from Kirkby was arrested in the Didsbury area of Manchester on suspicion of attempted murder.

A man, 32, and woman, 26, from Didsbury, are being held on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A 51 year-old man suffered serious face injuries and his 27 year-old son was wounded in the leg after being shot in Lance Close in Everton.
