Two more people have been arrested over the murder of a man who was shot dead as he parked his car in Liverpool, bringing the total to 11.

Jason Osu, 31, was shot five times in November 2012 on Beauclair Drive in Wavertree and died five days later.

A man, 29, is suspected of conspiracy to murder and a woman, 30, is suspected of assisting an offender.

Nine people have previously been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Six other people have also previously been held on suspicion of a range of offences said to be connected to the case, including fraud, drug possession and cultivation.

Currency trader Mr Osu, who also held a pilot's licence, was the victim of a targeted attack, police said.
