Two charged after gun seized in raid in Bootle, Merseyside

Two people have been charged after a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition were seized at a house in Merseyside, police have said.

Merseyside Police were searching a house on Bibby's Lane, Bootle when they made the discovery on Friday.

Steven Fleet, 43, of Bibby's Lane, and a 16-year-old boy from Bootle, have been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.

Both will appear at South Sefton Magistrates' Court later.
