Chester FC fans cheer on team in victory parade

Hundreds of Chester FC fans have lined the city's streets to watch an open-top bus parade to celebrate the club's hat-trick of promotions.

Chester FC, which formed in 2010 when Chester City folded, have been promoted for the third successive year.

They will play in the Blue Square Premier League next season and are one promotion from the Football League.

The parade started at the club's Exacta stadium at 14:00 BST and ended up at the town hall.

On arrival at Chester Town Hall, the club's Player of the Season Awards was presented.

A civic reception with the players and officials then took place.
