A sixth person has been arrested and bailed in connection with the fatal shooting of a Merseyside man as he was parking his car on his driveway.

Jason Osu, 31, was shot five times on 19 November, at the Beauclair Drive and Woolton Road junction in Wavertree. He died a week later in hospital.

The sixth person, a 53-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Three men aged 21, 22 and 32 and two women, aged 24 and 49, are on bail.

They too have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Mr Osu was a currency trader and held a pilot's licence.

Merseyside Police described the shooting as a targeted attack in a "low crime, suburban area of Liverpool".
