Murder charge after Tuebrook stab death

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Liverpool.

Karl Patrick O'Hara, 48, from Everton, was found with stab wounds at a property in Brainerd Street, Tuebrook, on Sunday afternoon.

The emergency services attended but he died at the scene.

Kevin Thomas Jones, 33, of Brainerd Street, Tuebrook, appeared at Knowsley Magistrates' Court where he was remanded in custody.

He is due to re-appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 7 March.

A 33-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman have been arrested and remain in police custody. Police have asked for any witnesses to come forward.

A 40-year-old woman arrested in connection with the incident has been bailed pending further inquiries.
