Two men arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Liverpool city centre have been bailed, police have said.
The men, aged 19 and 20, from Garston, were arrested after a man was found with head injuries in Sir Thomas Street in the early hours of Sunday.
The 26-year-old, who is from Ireland, was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Police have asked for witnesses to come forward.
