A woman has been jailed for life after admitting murdering her partner at their Merseyside home.
Police and paramedics called to the house on Briardale Road, Birkenhead, on 17 August found Darren Dempsey, 37, had been stabbed in the chest.
He was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Cherie Anne Cooper, 25, of Briardale Road, pleaded guilty to his murder at Liverpool Crown Court and was told to serve a minimum of 13 years in prison.
