Paula Clinton death: Husband accused of Aintree murder

The husband of a woman found stabbed to death in a Merseyside street has appeared in court charged with her murder.

Police discovered the body of 48-year-old Paula Clinton on Felsted Drive, Aintree, on 28 November.

A post-mortem examination revealed she died from multiple stab wounds.

Appearing at South Sefton Magistrates' Court, John Clinton, 51, from Aintree, was remanded in custody and will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday.
