Teenager bailed over Stockbridge Village shooting

A 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the "targeted" shooting of two men on Merseyside has been bailed.

Officers were called to park land off Cremorne Hey, Stockbridge Village, at 18:00 BST on Tuesday after receiving reports of shootings.

A 23-year-old is in a critical condition while a second man, aged 18, is in a "serious but stable" condition.

Police said it was not related to other recent firearms incidents.
