Hillsborough report damns police and emergency services
The independent report on the Hillsborough disaster, in which 96 Liverpool football fans lost their lives, has delivered a devastating verdict on the police and the emergency services.
It disclosed that evidence had been changed and that 'strenuous attempts' had been made to deflect blame onto the fans.
It also concluded that potentially, 41 of the victims might have survived had they been treated more promptly.
Mark Easton takes a closer look at the report's findings.
