A Birkenhead woman has appeared in court after being charged with the murder of her partner on Merseyside.
Police and paramedics were called to a home in Briardale Road, Birkenhead, on Friday following reports a man had been stabbed.
Darren Dempsey, 37, was taken to hospital with a chest injury, where he later died.
Cherie Anne Cooper, 25, of Briardale Road, will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 22 August.
