A 47-year-old man has been arrested after a woman was shot in Liverpool.
The victim, also 47, was found at a house on Barndale Road, Allerton, at about 21:50 BST on Friday.
Merseyside Police said she was in a stable condition in hospital with torso injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
The man, arrested at the property on suspicion of possession of a firearm, assault and possession of cannabis, has been bailed pending further inquiries.
