A teenager has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years detention for the manslaughter of a man in Liverpool.

Thomas McInerney, 21, from Walton, was found lying in County Road at about 03:30 BST on 23 October last year. He died from multiple stab wounds.

Sean Rogan, 18, of Chepstow Street, Walton, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court.

A murder charge against him was dropped after he admitted manslaughter at a previous hearing.
