A teenager accused of the rape and murder of a 17-year-old girl has appeared in court.

The body of Hannah Windsor, from Birkenhead, Wirral, was found hidden in bushes on Bidston Hill last month.

A post-mortem examination found she died from multiple injuries.

Adam Lewis, 18, from Moreton, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from Altcourse prison. He was further remanded until 3 September and a trial date was set for November.
