Two children were injured, one of them critically, when they were hit by a car in Merseyside.
A boy and girl, both aged 11, were hit by the car near the junction of Dunriding Lane, St Helens, around 18:00 GMT on Sunday.
The boy is described as critical in Alder Hey Hospital. The girl's injuries are not life-threatening.
Police said a man, aged 24, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit and under the influence of drugs.
Measles outbreak cases increase
The number of confirmed cases of measles in an outbreak in Merseyside continues to rise, health officials say.
