Cheshire company's trips on Virgin Galactic spaceship

Help

A Cheshire-based tour operator is one of only five in the UK that has been selected to sell trips to space.

Justine Pitt from the Seasons operator in Chester said the £127,000 trips sounded "phenomenal".

Although Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic spaceship is not yet ready for lift-off, 450 people across the world have bought tickets.

They will leave from Spaceport America - a purpose built terminal and runway in New Mexico - for a two-hour flight which will include five minutes of weightlessness.
