Appeal over death driver ruling

The government has announced it will appeal a decision to allow an asylum seeker who killed a 12-year-old girl to stay in England.

Amy Houston was knocked down in Blackburn in 2003 by Iraqi Kurd Aso Mohammed Ibrahim.

Her father, Paul Houston, has said the appeal will mean he has the chance to put his views across to the judges.
