Man charged with murder after Urmston street stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in a street fight in Greater Manchester.

Rhyan Wilson, 18, was stabbed in the chest near the Ivory pub in Flixton Road, Urmston, in the early hours of Saturday.

He was taken to Hope Hospital where he later died.

Dannell Dunkley, 35, of Gorton, Manchester, has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Another 18-year-old man was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary with stab wounds to the neck and leg after the incident, and was later discharged.

Mr Dunkley appeared at Trafford Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody, to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday.
