Man arrested over street fight stabbing in Urmston

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenager who was stabbed to death in a street fight in Greater Manchester.

Rhyan Wilson, 18, was stabbed in the chest near the Ivory pub in Flixton Road, Urmston, early on Saturday.

He was taken to Hope Hospital where he later died.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said a 35-year-old man was arrested on Monday evening. The force is appealing for witnesses.

Another 18-year-old man was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary with stab wounds to the neck and leg and later discharged.
