Man charged with raping two girls in Greater Manchester

A man has been charged with raping two teenage girls in Greater Manchester.

A 26-year-old man from Sale has been charged with five counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and a section 39 assault, relating to two separate alleged attacks.

The man has also been charged with five counts of possessing indecent images and 12 counts of possessing pornographic images.

He is due to appear at Trafford Magistrates' Court.

Greater Manchester Police said the charges related to the rape of a 16-year-old girl in July and the rape of a 14-year-old girl in February as well as another unconnected investigation.
