Boy held over internet grooming of girl in Manchester

A boy has been arrested on suspicion of posing as a teenage girl in order to entice a boy to perform an online sex act.

Greater Manchester Police said the 17 year old was being questioned in custody.

Officers seized computers, phones, and other media devices with access to internet at a property in Wythenshawe.

Det Insp Sarah-Jane Lennie warned parents to monitor their children's activity on social media websites.
