Man shot in buttock and thigh in Salford street attack
A man has been shot in the buttock and thigh in an attack on a Salford street.
The 21-year-old was shot in Curzon Road in Higher Broughton at about 23:30 BST on Sunday. He was taken to hospital in a "serious" condition, police said.
Greater Manchester Police said at least two people were seen to flee the shooting in a dark-coloured vehicle.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
Supt Mark Kenny said the shooting did not appear to be "a random attack".
He added the incident was not thought to be connected to another shooting in Salford on Friday evening.
