Hundreds join charity dog walk for St Ann's Hospice

About 300 dogs - and their walkers - have taken part in a charity dog walk in Manchester.

Staff at St Ann's Hospice hope the inaugural three-mile (5km) walk round Heaton Park will raise thousands.

The hospice, in Heald Green, Stockport, provides care for over 3,000 adults, their families and carers each year.

Staff nurse Fiona Troup, who took along Monty the West Highland terrier, said: "It was a great chance to show off our lovely dogs".
