A man has appeared in court accused of the murder of a 24-year-old woman in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Rebecca Ayres, who was known as Becks, was found at an address on Holt Street, Eccles, on Thursday.

Liam King, 25, of Holt Street, appeared at Manchester City Magistrates' Court earlier.

Post-mortem examination tests found Ms Ayres died from multiple stab wounds. Her family described her as a "doting" mother to her three-year-old son.
