Two charged with murder after Salford body find

Two people have been charged with murder after a body was discovered at a flat in Greater Manchester.

Kenneth Chapman, 47, was found in Bridgewater View, Salford, by police after they received a call over his welfare on 12 January.

Tests are being carried out to establish his cause of death.

Christopher Sawyers, 35, and Kirsty Edmondson, 23, both of no fixed abode, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court later.

The pair were also charged with theft, theft of a motor vehicle and seven offences of fraud.
