Five bus collision caused Manchester rush hour 'chaos'

A collision involving five buses caused rush hour "chaos" in Manchester city centre, police have said.

Greater Manchester Police said the buses heading towards Piccadilly bus station collided at about 08:15 GMT on Portland Street.

A spokeswoman said five buses were involved and 15 people were treated for minor injuries.

Portland Street has since reopened and traffic diversions have been lifted in the city centre.
