Two men have been charged after a security guard was allegedly threatened and assaulted at an anti-fracking camp in Greater Manchester.

Police said the charges followed an incident at the site between Barton aerodrome and the M62 on Monday.

Daniel Evans, 23, has been charged with a public order offence and Tristan Woodward, 30, with common assault and a public order offence.

Both men gave their addresses as the camp site in Barton Moss Road.

They will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on 7 February.
