Fire at Great Lever commercial site in Bolton

A fire at a commercial building in Bolton caused damage to auto parts and destroyed two quad bikes.

The fire broke out before 20:00 GMT on Saturday at the two-storey building in Foundry Street, Great Lever.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service station manager Brian Highlands said it had been difficult to get into the building because of the layout.

He said two quad bikes and a quantity of auto parts had been damaged in the blaze.

Fire investigation teams are working with Greater Manchester Police to establish the cause of the fire, Mr Highlands added.
