A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman who died when she was punched in Manchester city centre.

The 30-year-old woman was left with serious head injuries following the incident at Shudehill bus station at 01:10 GMT on Thursday.

She was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.

Ryan Ingham, 26, of Southdown Crescent in Blackley, will appear Manchester Crown Court on Monday.
