Child dies in Porche and Ford crash in Cheshire

An 11-year-old boy has died following a road crash involving a Porsche and a Ford car in Cheshire.

Three people in the Ford Focus were taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash on the A34 Congleton Road, Alderley Edge, at 08:07 BST.

The boy, from Sandbach, died a short time later, police said.

The driver of the Porsche Cayman was also taken to hospital and road closures were put in place while investigators were at the scene.
