Greater Manchester teacher charged with child sex offences

A teacher has been charged with a number of child sex abuse offences.

Mark Harrison, 48, of Stanley Road in Whitefield, Greater Manchester, was charged with grooming a child for sexual activity and five counts of sexual activity with a child.

In June, it was alleged he groomed a girl under 16 from Bury for sex.

He is due to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates' Court on 20 September, police said.
