Man accused of pensioner sex attack in Salford park

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 75-year-old woman who was sitting on a Salford park bench.

The woman was allegedly attacked by a man after he asked her for help in Peel Park on Thursday afternoon.

He then asked sexual questions and "kissed her and touched her inappropriately", before running off.

Mohammed Hamed, 26, of no fixed address, was committed to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 5 August by Manchester magistrates.
