Wayne and Coleen Rooney announce arrival of baby Klay

Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen have announced the birth of their second son.

Klay Anthony Rooney's birth at 02:11 BST was announced by his mother on her Twitter feed.

She wrote he weighed 7lb 11.5oz (3.5kg) and "we're all so happy and doing well".

The United striker also announced the birth on Twitter, writing that "both Klay and Coleen are fine [and] we're all delighted".

Klay is the younger brother to the Rooneys' first son, Kai, three, who was born in November 2009.

Rooney missed Manchester United's last game of the season against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday to be with his wife.
