Andrew Wood: Bolton biker killed in ice cream van crash

A 23-year-old motorcyclist has been killed after being involved in a collision with an ice cream van.

Andrew Wood, from Bolton, died following the crash on Bradford Street at its junction with Radcliffe Road in the town at 17:45 BST on Friday.

A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesman said the ice cream van driver was unhurt.

Sgt Danny Byrne said: "Our thoughts are with Andrew's family and friends, who have been left devastated."
