Flooding causes road closures in Greater Manchester
Roads in parts of Greater Manchester have been closed due to heavy rain.
Flooding caused the closure of the A56 Manchester Road in Ramsbottom and the A576 Middleton Road in Cheetham Hill.
A lane was closed on A34 Upper Brook Street because of a burst water main. There were also lane closures on the M60 and M62 but both have reopened.
The Environment Agency is warning more roads could flood because of rising river levels due to the downpours.
A flood alert for the Middle River Mersey near Altrincham, Urmston, Bramhall, Stockport and Sale is no longer in force.
There are more than 200 other flood warnings in place across England.
