A rare photo of Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe at her school graduation is expected to sell for up to £1,500 at auction in Greater Manchester.

Monroe, then aged 15 and known as Norma Jeane Baker, can be seen in the class photograph at Ralph Waldo Emerson Junior High School in Los Angeles.

Measuring 8x4in (20x10cm), the 1941 photo goes under the hammer at Omega Auctions, Stockport, on Friday.

Also on sale are Christmas cards sent by Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
