A man arrested over a hit-and-run that killed a teenage boy in Greater Manchester has been released on bail.

Callum Hilton, 16, of Middleton, was hit by a car as he crossed Stand Lane in Radcliffe at 18:30 GMT on Saturday.

He was with three friends going to the Hawthorn Hotel to ask directions to a house party in Bury.

A 32-year-old man arrested in Radcliffe on Sunday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed pending further inquiries.
