Police release man after Greater Manchester 'stairs death'
Police have released a man without charge after a body was found in Greater Manchester following reports a woman had fallen down stairs.
Officers were called to an address on Gorton Street, Farnworth, at about 05:00 GMT on Friday.
They found the body of a 65-year-old woman. The man was originally questioned on suspicion of murder.
Police said a post-mortem examination was held, with further tests under way to try and establish how she died.
