Help

The manager of a stables looking after a horse which kicked a man from Greater Manchester to death after it became agitated said such incidents are "rare".

The couple from Middleton were towing the horse on the A56 in Haslingden on Wednesday evening when the horse became agitated.

Ken Holden, from Croft Top Equestrian Centre, said horses usually travelled well but the animal "probably panicked".
