CCTV of Halloween mask robbery in Wigan, Greater Manchester

Police in Greater Manchester have released CCTV footage of an armed robbery by a gang wearing clown and Halloween masks.

The raid happened shortly after 10:20 BST on Tuesday 23 October at a jeweller's on Tyldesley Arcade, Wigan.

Three men, carrying crowbars and a hammer, threatened staff inside the shop including a heavily pregnant woman.

They stole a large amount of jewellery before escaping in a stolen VW Golf driven by a fourth man, said police.
