Merseyside voters views on PCC

The BBC's Arif Ansari hears what some people in Merseyside want from the new police and crime commissioner (PCC) when they are elected in November.

Some said they would like the PCC to make anti-social behaviour a priority for the force.

But Dr Stuart Wilks-Heeg, of the University of Liverpool, said: "It is difficult to see how they [Merseyside Police] could do much more than is already the case.

"Obviously police resources are diminishing and anti-social behaviour is a real strain if you try to tackle it where it occurs."

The PCC election takes place on 15 November.
