Man critical after attack in Wigan bar

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after an assault in Greater Manchester.

The attack happened at Revolution Bar on King Street, Wigan, at about 22:45 BST on Saturday.

The 32-year-old man was taken to hospital suffering from fractures to the body and serious head injuries, described as life-threatening.

Greater Manchester Police have arrested two men, who are both aged 26, on suspicion of assault.
