Toddler fractures skull falling from window in Royton

A toddler suffered a fractured skull when he fell from the first floor window of a house in Greater Manchester, emergency services said.

An ambulance was called to the address on St Phillips Drive, Royton, at 14:00 BST on Thursday.

The 17-month-old boy was found to be suffering from a serious head injury and he was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Greater Manchester Police said they were investigating the case.
