Bolton boy, 11, sentenced for raping girls

An 11-year-old boy from Greater Manchester, who raped two girls one aged 11 and the other aged seven, has been sentenced to four years detention.

The boy from Bolton, who was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court, was convicted in April.

He denied six offences involving two rapes of the seven-year-old, one sexual assault on each victim and the rape and attempted rape of the older child.

The boy's name will be added to the Sex Offenders Register, the court heard.
