Girl sexually assaulted in Dukinfield

A 12-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted by a man who also exposed himself to her in Greater Manchester.

The girl was walking across the car park of The Albion pub on Concord Way, Dukinfield, at 19:15 BST on Thursday when she was approached by a man.

He exposed himself before sexually assaulting her and walking off towards Jeffries Drive.

The girl ran off and her parents raised the alarm. The man was white and in his late 40s to early 50s.

Greater Manchester Police said he was of muscular build, 6ft (1.8m) tall and had greying hair.

He had a tattoo on his left upper arm which was made up of dark thick lines in either a diamond or two triangles which form a star shape.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
