Man charged with Oldham woman's murder

Razu Khanum Razu Khanum died from severe head trauma and neck injuries

A man has appeared before magistrates charged with murdering a woman in Greater Manchester.

Razu Khanum, 38 was found at a house on Matthew Close, Oldham, on Friday with severe head trauma and neck injuries. She died later in hospital.

Foyez Ahmed, 31, of Matthew Close, Oldham, was arrested on Saturday and has been charged with murder.

Manchester magistrates remanded Mr Ahmed to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday.
